I think games like that should come with mockery every ten minutes or so, like “You decided to open the door. You know, your mother still holds out a little hope in her heart that someday you’ll get married. Playing this game isn’t helping.”
That most certainly would make the game far more interesting. Or else it would always end in the same way. . .suicide. Me not know. -CS
I **LOVED** Zork — all of them. Each one took me (and my friends) weeks to solve. We had maps drawn and papers spread out around our bedrooms. T’was awesome.
To think, nowadays you can just google the steps and be done in about an hour. Magical times. -CS
LMAO! I wasn’t a big fan of Zork, but I did like Colossal Cave Adventure. I was amazed when I was able to find the Java version (and later the text version) online. And now apparently through your web site I’ll have a support group of text-game-a-holics 😀
Grab a cocktail, sit back, relax, and enjoy the riveting stories of the Jack Ass coworker, thankless job, pathetic attempts at dating, and other equally riveting musings.
I tried to click on the link, but my work’s morality filter has deemed the site “Criminal Skills” and won’t let me in. Seriously? Criminal skills?
Also, how dare you give me a parking ticket! 😛
Did it really? That’s messed up? It’s an MS Dos program for god’s sake. Lame.
You were parked in an illegal zone. And thank you for giving me one right back. -CS
You have an inner geek? Yeah, I like you better all the time!
Have you played this lately?

I am in awe of the graphics. Just horrible… and to think I thought they were great back then…
Oh how I love Oregon Trail. I have it on my facebook profile. -CS
Zork? Wow that brings back memories. Never played it, but I remember it being big.
You should totally start playing it. Go now and do it. -CS
For a minute I thought you wrote you were embracing your inner Greek and thought “What too much feta and Ouzo?”
It would be pretty impressive if I did that-seeing as how I’m not Greek at all. -CS

Holy crap I remember Zork…you just made me remember I haven’t been playing Hobowars at work lately.
I heart Hobowars. I do not, however, care for the people that keep beating me and stealing my money. Bastards. -CS

Yay! No you can play and be happy forever. -CS
After drinking enough ouzo, though, you might think you’re Greek, no? 😉
A very valid point. -CS
