Dirty Sexy Money

27 Sep

People, please tell me you watched Dirty Sexy Moneylast night.  PLEASE!!  Mama has a new favorite show. . .I’ve caught a few of the new shows this year, and this one is hands down the BEST one!  How can you not love a show where the priest has an illegitimate son and is hateful, and the politician has a tranny girlfriend?  It’s funny.

Promise me that you’ll tune in next week so we can discuss.  Promise me!

Damn… I’m quickly going to lose my “Girlie-girl” status … is it a bad sign that the only thing on my TV these days is “NFL network” and “ESPN”??? is that bad?? Oh come on…. a girl has gotta keep up with her football… especially if she’s in a FF league as the only girl against 9 guys. See? I’m “representin'” right?? right?

Oh geez… I need to guy some shoes or a new handbag or something…… I think my estrogen levels are dropping. (sigh…) hee..hee..hee.. 🙂

No, keep on watching those channels/shows and then give me the run down on how to talk to men about sports. The second someone starts to mention stats on sports related anything, my eyes glaze over. As soon as you can explain the allure of knowing such things, you must inform me immediately! -CS

I TiVo’d it, but I’m looking forward to watching it tonight. It looks so good!
I’ve also heard reviewers were eh on the pilot, but said that the third episode was amazing. Guess it’s only going to get better!

Please let me know what you think after you’ve watched it. I expect a full report! -CS

Shoot! I’ve been seeing ads for it in New York Mag all summer. Can you believe I missed it because we were watching Ken Burns – The War?

Look here, missy, The War is going to be on about a 100 times between now and the end of the month. I can’t believe that you gave up debauchery for a documentary. I’m disappointed in you! -CS

I totally watched it and loved loved loved it. I hope they don’t get all cliche about it and make Nick start neglecting his wife and daughter and the marriage falls apart. It’ll be more interesting if he manages to make them both work…
    I thought it was fantastic!

Yay! Another fan! I’m right there with you about the cliche stuff, I vote no on that nonsense. It’s going to be so fun to watch all the drama unfold. -CS

Did you watch Extra last night? They showed the person who plays the tranny. They had pictures of her before as a man and of her now with her husband (or boyfriend?) and child. Honestly, I think she was a pretty decent looking guy before.

Damn it! I’m so enraged that I missed that!! Tell me about what he/she looked like! -CS

“Show?” I presume you mean a radio programme, as I’m a bit out of date with the youth jargon. I don’t care for it, you see, as it involves electricity, and that’s the devil’s work.

I haven’t watched a new show in ages, since…probably the last season of “Friends.”

    That is so sad.

Wait. You don’t watch TV? I didn’t think such people actually existed. I’ve heard of people like you, but have never met anyone that really doesn’t watch TV!! -CS

I watched it last night and loved it! I agree it is going to be a new favorite. How can you not love watching such a disfunctional family run in all directions!!!

Frankly, I love Dsyfunction Junction, I practically live there. Truth be told, you can find me on the corner of Single and Dysfunctional. It’s nice living there. -CS

I went to see Wicked, and since I have no TiVo, I missed it. But I’m there next week for sure!

I’ll let you slide, but only because you went to see Wicked. -CS
