Why I Love Saturdays

Tomorrow morning Muffy and I will be devouring a very fabulous and tasty meal at Stone Mill Bakery. This is a ritual that we began several months ago, and something I very much look forward to. Every Saturday we meet at the most fabulous little bakery/cafe in the world. We go for breakfast, we go for brunch, we go for lunch. Everything they serve is delicious-half the time I want to walk in the door and just hoover everything in sight. It’s that good.

Of all of their delicious dishes, my favorites are the lobster roll, the brie and granny smith apple sandwich drizzled with honey and sprinkled with roasted almonds, and/or the marinated cucumber salad sandwich served with goat cheese on a baguette. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The other fabulous thing they offer is their hot chocolate. My god that stuff is so good that it should be a federal offense. It’s made with real Valrohna chocolate (from France), and they top it off with a home made marshmallow. The marshmallow melts over the top and it tastes like a little bit of heaven.
